First thing first, Diet simply does not mean that harsh punishment of fasting or avoiding all kinds of foots that cause weight gain or etc. Diet is simply controlling, understanding your metabolism and a general representation of what your body will be comfortable to have for life. Tell me can you eat your whole life just fruits or bitter gourd juice. Please understand the word dieting or diet does not mean starving or avoiding food intake. It simply means to eat controlled diet, reduce weight healthily and gradually.
